The Parent Volunteer Nutrition Aide Program allows parents and guardians to assist with food service and nutrition activities while receiving flexible scheduling and hands-on experience. Volunteers support meal service operations while learning about nutrition, safety, and CACFP compliance.

    Parent volunteers may:

    • Assist with meal prep, portioning, and classroom food transport.
    • Help with menu planning and simple inventory tasks.
    • Participate in nutrition education and cooking experiences.
    • Learn ServeSafe and CACFP meal pattern requirements.
    • Support dietary and allergy-safe meal practices.
