    Description

    Board Member- Treasurer

Now going into our 28th year bringing the joy of writing and performing to Chicago Public School students, we are currently looking for a new board treasurer! Our twelve-person board includes members with professional affiliations in finance, publishing, social work, advertising, performance, and tech, among others. We typically meet every other month as a full board and alternating months in our subcommittees, both via zoom. Because we meet remotely, Chicago residency isn't a requirement (we have one member in another state and one in another country)-- but we're looking for someone who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the literacy advocacy work we do in the city.

Check out our website for more about our programming.
