    Description

    Volunteer to Empower Young Mothers in Busoga (Uganda)

    Busoga Young Mothers Support Foundation is a community-based initiative dedicated to empowering young mothers through education, livelihood support, and psychosocial care.

    We work with vulnerable young women across the Busoga region to help them rebuild their lives, access opportunities, and create a better future for themselves and their children.

    We are seeking passionate and committed volunteers to join our mission and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young mothers.

    Volunteer Roles

    1. Program Support Volunteer
    • Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops
    • Support field activities and outreach programs
    1. Communications & Social Media Volunteer
    • Manage Facebook/online presence
    • Share impact stories and updates
    • Help grow visibility and donor engagement
    1. Fundraising & Grant Writing Volunteer
    • Identify funding opportunities
    • Write proposals and donor outreach emails
    1. Mentorship Volunteer
    • Provide guidance and life skills support to young mothers
    • Facilitate small group discussions or training

    Responsibilities

    • Support ongoing projects and initiatives
    • Work closely with the local team and beneficiaries
    • Contribute ideas to improve programs
    • Represent the organization professionally

    Requirements

    • Passion for community development and women empowerment
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Experience in social work, communications
