    Description

    Summer Museum Greeter

    Our museum of World War One artefacts is paired with a hangar full of replica WWI aircraft that actually fly!

    We are looking for volunteers to welcome visitors and answer questions. You don’t need to be a World War One buff or aviation expert! Our members learn from each other, and that’s part of the fun of volunteering at the museum.

    Jobs to be done include:

    • welcoming visitors & handling admissions
    • administering merchandise purchases
    • giving tours of our hangar
    • giving tours of our artefact museum

    The museum is open from Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day:

    Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: 11:00 to 4:00; Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:00-3:00.

    We are in particular need of volunteers on weekends. You can choose when and how often you wish to volunteer.
