Thank you for your interest in Volunteering with the Humanity Preservation Foundation and/or Recovery Your Way – it is the volunteers of the organization that make it all happen! As we close out one year we are excited for a great 2026!

The Humanity Preservation Foundation (HPF) is a registered 501c Not For Profit that focuses its efforts on helping those victimized by child abuse, domestic violence, and bullying with a heavy focus on educating for the prevention of the same horrific acts as well as providing an addiction/trauma recovery platform.

We are currently seeking board members to join our organization. Qualifications; This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about HPF’s mission and who has a track record of board leadership and/or management background. Selected Board Members will have achieved leadership stature in business, government, philanthropy, education or the nonprofit sector. His/her accomplishments will allow him/her to attract other well-qualified, high-performing Board Members. Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications: Extensive professional experience with significant executive leadership/management accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector Knowledge and commitment to fundraising and grant acquisition A commitment to and understanding of HPF’s beneficiaries Savvy diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships and persuading, convening, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse individuals Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of HPFs beneficiaries Service on HPF’s Board of Directors is without remuneration, except for approved expenses in relation to Board Members’ duties

What we ask of our Board Members

• Attend 4 (one each quarter) board meetings per year via zoom (In addition to regular meeting schedule)
• Our intent is to have a board member for at least a 1 year period but volunteers are welcome to be a part of the team for as long as they like.
• Spearhead a committee, division, and/or effort
• Participate in and/or develop fundraising effort
• Drive participation via connections/network in our events, social media, etc
