Safe & reliable vehicle, fully-insured, with working air conditioning and heat, and room in the cabin to transport cats
Description
Volunteers are needed to transport cats for many reasons, mainly to and from spay/neuter clinics or vet hospitals. This is a position for an early bird with a flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle, who wants to help here and there as needed.
Requirements:
- Age 21+
- Safe driving record
- Reliable vehicle with working air conditioning and heat
- Ability to drive up within the Baltimore metropolitan area, including city and highway driving
- Morning availability, particularly needed from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
- The ability to accommodate humane box traps (30" long) in the cabin of your vehicle. This may include a folding rear seat or open cargo area such as in a hatchback or SUV.
- Pass criminal record check
This irregular volunteer activity can have a significant impact on the lives of cats in the Baltimore area! Please note that we cannot accommodate service hour needs.
