    Description

Are you passionate about history and sharing it with visitors from all over the country and world? The Moss Mansion takes volunteers on a rolling basis to help maintain the history and structure of the 1903 home while also sharing it with others.
The Moss Mansion is a historic house museum in Billings, Montana. The landmark pioneer mansion features original furnishings and fixtures throughout and is preserved in its nearly original form. We offer both guided and self guided tours to visitors throughout the year, sharing information with them as they visit the home and gain new insight into Billings history.
We rely on volunteers to attend to the front desk during tour hours. Duties include checking in visitors, ringing up their admission fee, giving them brief overviews/explanations of the museum and the experience they can expect to have within it. Desk attendants are also expected to ring up any gift shop purchases. Your face is the first one visitors will see during their trip to Moss Mansion!
