    Description

    A local bicycle nonprofit seeks a dedicated volunteer to join the board of directors as the Programs Committee Chair. Responsibilities include organizing social events, overseeing bicycle maintenance classes and the bicycle scholarship program, and managing Velocity's involvement with activities run by partner organizations, such as bike rodeos and Bike to Work Day. The ideal applicant will have strong administrative and communication skills and will actively participate with Velocity at least twice a month, in addition to attending monthly board meetings online.
