Road Warrior Needed for Western Connecticut Resident

A Road Warrior is needed for a local neighbor who is legally blind and living in bucolic western Connecticut. The need for medical transportation is intermittent but important. She has been on a very long road with the support of her friends and family but needs to add a few more names to her list of good Samaritans. Could you sign up for one or two trips per year to help ease her worries to provide respite for family and friends?

There are some choices

• Occasional Trips to Sharon Hospital, wait and return; or
• A quarterly trip from Sharon to Yale, wait and return to Sharon
• Local trips to the grocery store, post office or out for coffee would be a boon!

Despite the challenges, she is open, engaging and in good spirits, grateful for all the support she receives. Appointments are ongoing but you aren't going to do them all, just one or two if you can and that will be awesome.
