    Description

Creative Volunteers Needed – Hospice Comfort Creations (No Direct Care)

We are seeking crafty and creative volunteers to help support hospice patients and their families by creating handmade comfort items. These items—such as blankets, quilts, memory bears, beanies, scarves, and other arts and crafts—are gifted to patients and families as meaningful keepsakes and sources of comfort during a difficult time.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Sew, knit, crochet, or create handmade items (blankets, memory bears, beanies, scarves, or similar crafts)
    • Complete projects independently from home
    • Donate finished items to be distributed to hospice patients and families

    Expectations:

    • Ability to work independently and manage your own time
    • Communicate completion of items for volunteer hour tracking
    • Quality, care, and compassion in each handmade item

    Important Details:

    • No direct patient or family contact
    • Volunteer hours are based on the time you spend creating items
    • Projects can be completed from the comfort of your home
    • Flexible commitment—create at your own pace

    Who We’re Looking For:

    • Individuals who enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting, or crafting
    • Volunteers who are creative, reliable, and compassionate
    • Anyone who wants to make a meaningful impact through handmade gifts

Your creativity helps bring warmth, comfort, and dignity to hospice patients and their loved ones. 💛
