Hospice Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of hospice care. At Alta Vita Hospice, we are seeking individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of community members at the end of life. Our volunteers contribute diverse skills, backgrounds, and perspectives as valued members of the care team. We offer several openings to support patients, families, and staff through both direct patient interaction and administrative assistance. Opportunities are available in our main office and in patients’ homes. Direct care volunteers provide comfort, companionship, and support to patients and their loved ones, while office volunteers assist with administrative tasks that strengthen our overall operations. Volunteers are encouraged to choose a level of involvement that aligns with their availability and the needs of the individuals we serve. Training, background checks and medical clearance are needed.
