    Commitment Details:
    Food Pantry is the *** third Friday of every month *** Sorting food and packing boxes from delivered pallets begins at 8:30 am. Distribution is 10:30a-12:00p. Clean-up follows grab-and-go distribution.

    Ability to lift, carry and load boxes of food (25-50 lbs) into vehicles. Ability to stand, walk, bend, pack items - nonperishables, frozen and refrigerated assortments - for a period of time.

    Description

    Volunteers are needed to sort and pack the boxes of food (8:30a-10:30a), assist in the grab-and-go distribution (10:30a-12:00p), and help with the clean-up and restocking of pantry items (12:00p-12:30p). The ability to lift and load into trunks is helpful with distribution time slot. Volunteers may participate for task segments or for entire program.
