    Description

Make Event Day Run: Event Logistics Volunteer

Some people can walk into a half-empty room three hours before an event and turn it into something that runs like clockwork. If that's you, keep reading.

Invisible Warriors runs on events, and events run on someone who sweats the details. We're a national community for women veterans, with our in-person events right here in Alabama, built on a simple idea: most groups start with services, but we start by making sure these women are seen, known, and not alone. We've done it since 2022 with no office and no big budget, reaching 127 women veterans in the first half of 2026 alone.

    What you'd actually be doing:

    • Own the run-of-show: setup, timing, teardown, and the hundred small things in between
    • Line up materials, signage, seating, and check-in
    • Point volunteers where they're needed and keep the day on schedule
    • Be the calm person people find when something goes sideways

Who we're looking for: you've run events before, or you're just wired to organize. You keep your head when things move fast. You don't need to be a veteran. Neither is our founder.

The commitment: a few hours a week, heavier in the days around an event, mostly in person in the Huntsville and Madison area. One honest ask: if you can't reliably show up on event days, please don't apply. An event short a logistics lead is a hard day for everyone, and the women we serve are the ones who feel it.

Why it's worth your time: the events you run put more women veterans on the map and more support behind them. You'll see them there, and you'll know exactly what your work made possible.
