Resource Center Volunteer – Help Organize, Stock & Serve Your Community

Gleaners of Clackamas County is looking for caring, dependable volunteers to support our Resource Center.

Our Resource Center is a thrift store-style space where donated clothing, household goods, books, toys, school supplies, seasonal items, and other essentials are organized and made available to Gleaners members and adoptees. By volunteering, you'll help ensure these resources are easy to access and beautifully organized for the families we serve.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize incoming donations
• Stock shelves and maintain displays
• Keep the Resource Center clean, organized, and welcoming
• Assist members and adoptees as they browse when needed
• Help prepare donated items for distribution
• Operate a pallet jack to move donations throughout the Resource Center (training provided if needed)

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, and enjoys working with people
• Able to organize and maintain a tidy workspace
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
• Experience operating a pallet jack is helpful, or a willingness to learn
