Join Our Board of Directors (2026-2027 Term)

2 Care for Me Outreach is a nonprofit organization in Las Vegas, NV committed to supporting youth, low-income families, homeless youth, and the homeless population by providing essential resources, referrals, and support services. As we continue to expand our impact, we are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 term.

Board Member Responsibilities:

1. Governance and Oversight:

• Participate in setting the strategic direction of the organization.
• Ensure that 2 Care for Me Outreach fulfills its mission and adheres to its core values.
• Review and approve annual budgets, financial statements, and significant policies.

1. Community Advocacy:

• Serve as an ambassador for 2 Care for Me Outreach within your network and the broader community.
• Promote awareness of the organization’s mission, programs, and impact.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, businesses, and other nonprofits.

1. Program Support and Evaluation:

• Provide input on program development and evaluation to ensure alignment with the organization's goals.
• Offer expertise and guidance on specific program areas, such as youth services, homelessness, or community outreach.
• Monitor the effectiveness of programs and recommend improvements as needed.

1. Board Meetings and Participation:

• Attend and actively participate in three board meetings per year, either virtually or in person.
• Review meeting materials in advance and contribute to discussions with thoughtful insights and recommendations.
• Serve on committees or task forces as needed, contributing your expertise and leadership.

1. Compliance and Ethics:

• Ensure that the organization complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in all board activities.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding board discussions and organizational matters.

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for our mission and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: nonprofit management, fundraising, community outreach, education, or social services.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to attend three meetings per year and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s growth and success.
• Meetings are held via Google Meet.
