    Description

Do you have a heart for compassion and a calming presence? We are seeking Hospice Vigil Volunteers to sit at the bedside of patients during their final hours of life.

As a Vigil Volunteer, you will provide a quiet, supportive presence-whether through gentle words, prayer, music, or simply sitting in silence. You’ll also offer comfort to family members, giving them peace of mind knowing their loved one is not alone.

This role is deeply meaningful and allows you to bring dignity, comfort, and companionship at one of life’s most sacred moments. Volunteers receive training and ongoing support from our hospice team.

Vigil Volunteers are typically called upon on an as-needed basis.
