    Description

Are You Passionate About Deep-Dive Community Learning?

As the Program Manager for Civic Seminars, you are responsible for launching and executing our course-based public education workshops. If you want to create and facilitate accessible, classroom-style seminars where historical context and modern civil structures come to life for everyday citizens, this role is yours.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Curate Course Frameworks: Map out and facilitate short-form, deep-dive community education courses and seminars that break down complex historical frameworks, legal concepts, and foundational civic systems into clear modules.
    • Coordinate Educational Materials: Ensure all seminar lesson plans, presentations, reading lists, and student materials are highly educational, balanced, deeply engaging, and simple to navigate.
    • Liaise for Content Approval: Partner with the Educational Review Committee to verify that all seminar topics, guest speakers (if applicable), and course materials maintain flawless, non-partisan accuracy and comply with our internal style guides.
    • Track Seminar Success Metrics: Collaborate with the Research Team to deploy post-course evaluations that measure participant learning gains, baseline civic confidence, and overall program quality.

    Your Schedule & Commitments:

    • Show up to our 90-minute monthly organization-wide meeting.
    • Collaborate with the Education Team in up to three short meetings per month.
    • Dedicate independent time to developing courses, coordinating with designers, and scheduling public seminar rollouts.
