    Description

Give comfort for hospice patients by using your crafting skills

Are you crafty and artistic? Do you like to sew? Do you know how to sew a pillow or a bear? Can you make hot/cold rice packs, scarves or hats?

Aurora at Home Hospice is in need of crafty volunteers to create these items for patients and families of Hospice.

Rice packs, scarves and hats are provided to patients when they sign onto hospice care to provide additional support and comfort from the start.

A memory pillow or memory bear is an item that is made out of clothing from the patient, it is used for bereavement support for family members following death.

We are looking for crafters within the NE Wisconsin area as that is where we are based.

Contact Lexi Pirman, Volunteer Coordinator at Lexi.pirman@aah.org or call 920-627-5306 for more information.
