Volunteer Companion Needed – Gresham, OR
Do you enjoy building meaningful connections and helping reduce social isolation for older adults? Providence PACE is seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide companionship to a participant living in the Gresham area.
- Location: Gresham, OR
- Visit Type: In-person
- Schedule: Flexible; coordinated with the participant and care team
- Volunteer Experience Level: No specific experience required
- Commitment: Ongoing companionship visits
- Primary Focus: Social connection, conversation, and friendship
About the Participant The participant would benefit from regular companionship and social engagement. They communicate effectively through written communication and enjoy spending time with others. Volunteers who are patient, adaptable, and comfortable using written notes or other communication methods are encouraged to apply.
