    Are you detail-oriented, passionate about community development, and eager to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Grant Researcher to join our mission-driven team at Murphy Charitable Foundation.

    In this role, you'll play a vital part in helping us secure funding to support our programs in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and youth development across Uganda. Your research will directly contribute to creating real change in vulnerable communities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct in-depth research to identify suitable grant opportunities from diverse sources, including government agencies, private foundations, corporations, and international organizations.
    • Evaluate grant requirements to ensure alignment with the mission and goals of Murphy Charitable Foundation.
    • Create and manage a well-organized database of potential grants, including key details such as deadlines, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
    • Collaborate with the fundraising and program teams to support the development of compelling grant proposals.
    • Monitor trends and updates in grant funding and philanthropic giving to inform strategic decisions.
