    Description

    Social Media Volunteers

    Help us share Greenbelt’s history and the New Deal story. Post about the museum, events, and local heritage.

    As a Social Media Volunteer, you will:

    • Create and schedule engaging social media posts highlighting the Greenbelt Museum, historical programming, and local heritage

    • Assist in promoting events that connect the public with Greenbelt’s New Deal legacy

    • Develop content aligned with the City of Greenbelt’s Social Media Guidelines and TikTok’s Community Guidelines

    • Help expand public awareness of Greenbelt’s cultural and historical significance

    Qualifications:

    • Strong writing and/or social media skills (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or related platforms)

    • Interest in public history, digital storytelling, or community engagement

    • Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully online

    • Willingness to follow communication and content guidelines provided by the City

    • Willingness to follow a brand kit.
