Description
The Volunteer Coordinator helps organize, support, and communicate with WSUA’s volunteer team. You will welcome new volunteers, maintain records, match people to roles, and keep communication flowing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and keeping things organized.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and onboard new volunteers
- Maintain volunteer lists, availability, and contact information
- Communicate upcoming opportunities and updates
- Match volunteers to roles based on skills and interests
- Track volunteer hours and participation
- Support event coordination and community outreach
- Help build simple processes and documentation
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and reliable
- Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and basic online tools
- Friendly, patient, and people‑focused
- Interest in humanitarian work or Ukrainian community support
Time Commitment
3-5 hours per week, flexible schedule. Mostly remote.
