Big Climb 2026 Event Day Volunteer

My name is Holt, and I am reaching out on behalf of Blood Cancer United. We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to support our Big Climb 2026 event.

Big Climb is an inspirational athletic event where participants take to the stairs to climb for a cure, raising critical funds for blood cancer research, patient support, and advocacy efforts. This is a meaningful opportunity to give back to the community, meet new people, and gain valuable volunteer experience.

Event Details:

Sunday, June 7, 2026

Citi Field | Queens, NY

Volunteer Shifts:

Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Shift 2: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Volunteers may register for one or both shifts.

Volunteer Roles Include (but are not limited to):

• Event Set-Up

• Participant Check-In

• Base Camp Support

• Kids Zone

• Summit Club

• Water & Snack Stations

• Photo Areas

• Cheer Sections

Event day volunteers play a critical role in creating an uplifting, safe, and organized experience for all participants. Your time and energy directly support individuals and families impacted by blood cancer.

Please note: Final arrival instructions and exact role placements will be shared the week of the event. Shift times are subject to slight adjustment as needed.
