Partnership and Sales Manager

Educate. Radiate. Elevate. is looking for a volunteer to help us grow partnerships by introducing organizations to E.R.E.’s programs, services, and IP. You will work from a researched prospect list, pitch our offerings to the right decision-makers, and manage those relationships from first contact through partnership.

We are looking for a dedicated volunteer with the following qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in sales (pipeline management, targeted outreach via phone and email, relationship building, and negotiation)
• Comfort with regular lead outreach
• Ability to tailor a pitch to a specific organization’s needs
• Passion for education, equity, and community service

About Us:

E.R.E. is a nonprofit operating in IL and TX that was formed during the pandemic to address the widening achievement gap due to school closures. Our purpose is to strengthen the educational achievement of underserved students by providing them with high-quality instruction from experienced tutors who will assist them with academics, enrichment, and test prep, as well as essential learning and life skills. Our mission is to minimize the disproportionate learning losses for low-income students to provide economic, social, and emotional stability for the youth served, their families, and their communities.

What you’ll do:

• Study E.R.E.’s programs, services, and IP to pitch them effectively to prospective partners.
• Create and manage a sales pipeline from our researched prospect list.
• Conduct targeted outreach to at least 2-3 leads per week via phone and email.
• Tailor pitches to each organization’s needs.
• Cultivate, negotiate, and maintain ongoing partner relationships using customer persona insights and sales cycle principles.
• Volunteer approximately 10-15 hours per month.
