Time Commitment: Approximately 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Location: University of Washington – Red Square, Seattle, WA. The event runs from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and includes registration, an opening ceremony, and a 5K walk/run.

Position Summary

MADD Pacific Northwest is seeking a volunteer DJ to help create a fun, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere during our signature fundraising event, Move With MADD Seattle 2026. Your music will inspire participants, recognize survivors and supporters, and help keep the excitement going throughout the morning.

Responsibilities

• Provide upbeat, family-friendly music before, during, and after the event.
• Make announcements provided by the event staff, including sponsor recognition, event updates, and participant reminders.
• Coordinate with the event emcee and organizers throughout the morning.
• Arrive early to set up and complete a sound check before participants arrive.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and engaging presence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing DJ services for community events, races, walks, or nonprofit fundraisers.
• Ability to provide your own sound equipment suitable for an outdoor event.
• Comfortable making announcements using a microphone.
• Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about supporting a meaningful cause.
