    Special Events Coordinator Volunteer

    Location: 1901 Hay Terrace Easton, PA 18042 and Virtual

    Reports to: Dr. Kierstin Carreira, President

    Position Summary:

    The Special Events Coordinator Volunteer plays a key role in planning, organizing, and executing events that support the mission of Empowerment Pathways. From community workshops and fundraisers to appreciation events and outreach activities, this volunteer ensures that each gathering is purposeful, engaging, and well-coordinated. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about bringing people together for a cause.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the planning and coordination of special events, both in-person and virtual
    • Manage event logistics including scheduling, venue coordination, supplies, and setup/cleanup
    • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth event execution
    • Help create event timelines, checklists, and promotional materials
    • Serve as a point of contact for vendors, partners, and attendees when needed
    • Support with volunteer recruitment and coordination for event-day support
    • Gather feedback and help assess event success for future improvement

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Creativity and a passion for planning engaging experiences
    • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
    • Familiarity with event planning or logistics (personal or professional) is a plus
    • Dependable, enthusiastic, and aligned with the mission of Empowerment Pathways
