Volunteer Opportunity: Bilingual French-English Social Media & Content Lead

MADIFF is looking for a bilingual French-English Social Media & Content Lead (Volunteer) to support one of its projects, AfriMEC – Africa Middle East Chamber of Commerce & Investment, a growing platform connecting business leaders, institutions, entrepreneurs, and investors across Africa and the Middle East. Fluency in both French and English is required for this role.

As part of AfriMEC’s development, we are building a professional communications team to strengthen its digital presence, visibility, and engagement with an international audience.

Role: Bilingual French-English Social Media & Content Lead (Volunteer)

We are seeking a motivated and creative professional who can develop engaging content and help shape AfriMEC’s online voice and storytelling across both French- and English-speaking audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage social media content and posting schedules
• Create and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
• Develop and adapt content in both French and English
• Ensure consistent tone, branding, and messaging across platforms
• Transform strategic and institutional messages into clear, engaging digital content
• Create member, partner, project, and event highlight posts
• Support content development for newsletters and website updates
• Help identify creative content ideas to increase AfriMEC’s visibility and engagement

Profile We’re Looking For

• Experience or demonstrated skills in social media management, communications, or digital content creation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
• Good understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and digital communications
• Interest in international business, investment, economic development, or Africa–Middle East relations
• Ability to work independently, collaborate remotely, and meet deadlines
• Creative, proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
