    Description

    West Des Moines Human Services is in need of volunteers for its DMARC Food Pantry. Volunteers will assist clients with food selections, stock shelves, and keep the pantry tidy. Some lifting is required (up to 25 lbs). Morning and afternoon shifts available weekdays as well as Tuesday evenings from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Shifts are two to three hours in length. Volunteers may commit to a regular weekly shift, or volunteer on an on-going, intermittent basis. Please note, we do not offer one-time or short-term volunteer opportunities in the Food Pantry due to the training involved.
