    Volunteer at Dance Parade/DanceFest -- NYC's Largest Public Dance Event

    Come be a part of New York City's largest dance event! Dance Parade New York is looking for passionate, enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our 20th annual DanceFest held in Tompkins Square Park, Saturday, May 16th. We are seeking supporters who want to give back to their city and help make an impact. We reward volunteers with a 2026 DANCE PARADE t-shirt, free entry to the Crew Party and official After Party, free pizza day-of festival, emotional nourishment, invaluable networking, and friendships for life. Applicants must be 18+. All identities and abilities are welcome.

    We are looking for volunteers to assist with numerous responsibilities including crowd control along our parade route, dancer control in our parade formation area, festival set-up, moving supplies, supporting other production staff members, and most importantly, being a friendly face to assist patrons and dancers alike! We have many opportunities available and we'd love to find the perfect role for YOU!
