    Flexible, 3–6 hours per week, remote or partially on-site if in Puerto Rico. Weekly or biweekly check-ins with the core team. Ongoing role, minimum 3 months preferred.

    About PR Animals

    PR Animals is a nonprofit in Puerto Rico that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes stray dogs and cats. We also promote humane education, community outreach, and the creation of safe, healthy spaces for rescued animals.

    What You’ll Do:

    As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will:

    • Help recruit, onboard, and communicate with volunteers for various roles.
    • Maintain a clear list of volunteer needs and match people to the best tasks.
    • Support volunteers to stay engaged, motivated, and informed.
    • Assist with scheduling, reminders, and basic training materials.
    • Suggest ideas to build a strong, caring volunteer community.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Friendly, reliable, and patient.
    • Previous experience coordinating people is a plus, but not required.
    • Interest in animal welfare and teamwork.
    • Remote or hybrid possible.
