    Description

    Food Pantry Volunteer Needed

    A food pantry volunteer plays a vital role in supporting community members facing food insecurity. The position involves both hands-on assistance and compassionate interaction with clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Client Assistance: Greet visitors warmly, help them navigate the pantry, and answer questions about available resources.

    Food Sorting & Stocking: Organize donations, check expiration dates, and restock shelves to ensure food safety and accessibility.

    Distribution: Pack and distribute food items according to pantry guidelines and client needs.

    Inventory Management: Track supplies, report shortages, and assist with restocking deliveries.
