Position Overview

The Email Marketing Specialist will play a key role in connecting our mission with our community through meaningful, story-driven communication. This entry-level position supports the planning, creation, and delivery of email campaigns that inspire action, grow engagement, and strengthen relationships with donors, volunteers, and readers. You’ll work closely with the Digital Marketing and Content teams to share program updates, promote events, and highlight real stories of transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and scheduling email campaigns using Brevo (training provided)
• Write and edit compelling email content that reflects Deliverance Charities’ voice and mission
• Segment audiences (donors, volunteers, subscribers, sponsors) for targeted messaging
• Support automated workflows such as welcome sequences, newsletters, and campaign updates
• Track performance metrics (open rates, click-throughs, engagement) and prepare simple reports
• Collaborate with the Content and Resource Development teams to align messaging with fundraising goals
• Maintain email lists and ensure contact data is organized and compliant with privacy standards

Work Environment: Our team is collaborative and supportive, using tools Google Gmail, Chat and Space to stay connected and work efficiently.

Schedule:

• Self-determined schedule but need updates monthly.
• At least 5 hours a week, anything more is appreciated
• Updates should be submitted via email.
