    We are seeking someone that has fundraising experience.

    Description

    Experience Preferred:

    • Preferred 5 or more years of fund development experience including substantial experience in finding, cultivating, and soliciting major donors and individual donors.
    • Excellent written and verbal relationship management communication skills

    Essential Duties:

    • Establish and sustain working relationships with Homeless Remedies Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and the board of directors members to increase the effectiveness of all fundraising activities.
    • Research and develop strategies to increase the relationship-building required to attract major donors and high-level individual donors.
    • Ascertain new fundraising opportunities. Identify individuals, corporations, and foundations likely to donate and gift giving.
    • Proactively cultivate ongoing donor relationships through personal contact and other ongoing forms of information sharing.
    • Develop, and coordinate with Homeless Remedies Inc.’s Marketing Manager fundraising activities to provide special events and program-specific support.
    • Chair the fundraising committee: provide the leadership, strategic direction, management, and coordination of fundraising efforts to maximize fundraising opportunities.
    • Create a donor recognition program, offering meaningful recognition for donors of all types and all amounts.
    • Set quarterly and annual goals.
    • Develop and maintain a tracking system of fundraising donors, events, and goals.
    • Prioritize communication with board members regarding donors and potential donors to advance development initiatives.
