Vancouver Region Educational Services (VRES) is looking for a Social Media Assistant Volunteer to help create content, plan posts with a team, and represent our organization online in a welcoming and inclusive way.
About Vancouver Region Educational Services (VRES):
VRES is a not-for-profit organization that provides individuals in Vancouver Region and beyond with free and affordable educational resources in a safe and supportive environment that inspires personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit content for VRES Instagram account(s)
- Plan content with a team
- Help foster a welcoming online environment
- Represent VRES online

Requirements:
- Minimum age: 12
- Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and software
- Interest in social media, content creation, and online communication
- Able to work collaboratively with a team
- Complete training prior to start date
- Can commit to the shift schedule
Assets:
- Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English
- Previous volunteer experience
- Experience creating social media content or captions
- Familiarity with Instagram or other social media platforms
