    Description

Do you love art & architecture? Become a Capitol tour guide!

The Utah State Capitol is seeking volunteers to lead guided tours of the Capitol on weekdays.

Volunteer docents - or tour guides - enhance Capitol visitors' experiences by interpreting Utah's unique history and culture, as well as highlighting the Capitol's architecture, artworks, and government function.

In addition to providing an indispensable service to tens of thousands of local students and Utah citizens, docents gain the opportunity to engage with tourists from across the U.S. and around the globe. Docents develop a special connection with the Capitol community and attend educational workshops and volunteer socials.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a 3-hour shift on a weekday, every other week.

    2 shifts available:

    • 10:00 to 13:00 MST
    • 13:00 to 16:00 MST

    Location

    On-site
120 State Capitol, 350 North State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, US
    350 North State Street
