    Description

    Join us as we celebrate kids! The Kids’ Night at the Park/Moonlight & Music combines a Kids Swap Meet with the Moonlight & Music series on Thursday, July 30. The event will be hosted at Magnolia Park located at 651 W 15th Street in Upland. You will bring meaningful memories and experiences to the residents of our local community. To help expedite volunteer check-in, please complete the attached Liability Waiver, and bring with you. We will also have copies available for a parent or guardian to sign the day of the event. Please forward to any interested in volunteering.

    VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

    Registration Deadline: Wednesday, July 29, 2026, by 3:00 p.m.

    Volunteer spots are very limited, please register as soon as possible.

    -Name & Phone Number

    -School/Agency if you need service credit

    -The times or shift you will volunteer (for example: event craft, 1-5pm)

    SHIFTS & TASKS AVAILABLE

    Here is a list of times and shifts available. You can also work partial shift, just let us know the hours you plan to attend. Please let us know at check-in if you plan to stay longer or if you arrive at a different time:

    • Swap Meet Helpers| 3:00pm-5:00pm (2.0 hours): May help set up swap meet check in and help show swap meet vendors to their spots.
    • General Helpers| 4:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. (6.0 hours): May help set up yard games and decorations, monitor yard games and crafts during concert, and help clean up after concert is over
    • Entire Event| 3:00 p.m.-10:00 a.m. (7.0 hours): May assist with set-up, swap meet, decorating, or games and crafts.

    ATTIRE & PARKING

    Comfortable, jeans, sneakers or sturdy comfortable shoes are recommended. Please wear closed-toe shoes, no flip flops, or heel/platforms. The day is anticipated to be HOT. Please wear comfortable clothing (jeans and shorts are acceptable. Check-in at the white canopy. Parking is available adjacent to the park. Students are encouraged to be dropped off; staff will stay with students until they are picked-up.

    RECEIVING SERVICE CREDIT

    Participants interested in receiving service credit for school or work, must sign-in and sign-out. Verification forms should be submitted at check-in and will be ready at check-out. If you do not have one, we will have a form available. Make sure your Volunteer Verification form has your name, phone number and the school/agency name. Failure to check-out will result in no-credit. Participants who choose to not follow rules, behave unsafely or disrespectful, will be asked to leave and receive no-credit.
