    Join the Earth Day Phoenixville Volunteer Team 🌎

    Help Bring Earth Day Phoenixville to Life 🌎🌿

    Saturday, April 18, 2026 | Reservoir Park - 601 Franklin Ave | Phoenixville, PA

    We’re looking for volunteers to help make our 4th Annual Earth Day celebration a success. This is a joyful community event filled with music, learning, and connection, and it truly runs on volunteer energy.

    Volunteer Shifts & Roles

    🌅 Set-Up Crew (10 AM – 12 noon PM)

    Help us get everything ready before the event begins.

    • Assist vendors with unloading and setting up booths
    • Carry tables, chairs, and materials from vehicles to event spaces
    • Help organize event areas including Talks at the Tent

    🎤 Talks at the Tent Emcee (11:40 PM – 4 PM)

    Help keep our speaker series running smoothly.

    • Introduce speakers using a provided program
    • Keep an eye on time using a phone, watch, or clock to ensure speakers stay within their allotted time slots
    • Gently cue transitions between speakers as needed
    • Help create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for attendees

    🌙 Breakdown Crew (4 PM – 6:30 PM)

    We especially need help at the end of the day.

    • Assist vendors with packing up and transporting items to vehicles
    • Take down the Talks at the Tent setup, including ~50 chairs and tables
    • Load materials onto a truck, then help unload and carry them into St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (Church & Starr Streets)

    Important Notes

    • Many roles involve walking, lifting, and carrying items such as chairs, tables, and supplies
    • Volunteers should be comfortable being on their feet and assisting with physical tasks
    • Event is rain or shine, so please dress for the weather

    If you need parking and will be finishing your volunteer shift and leaving before 3:30 PM, you may park in the free lot behind Frankin Commons:

    From there, walk up the gravel/turface path past the community garden (on your right). The vendors will be set up near the top of the path.
