Rcoz is looking for a local and driven Youth Program Coordinator to join our team to help support and lead our youth-focused events.
This is a volunteer role where you’ll play an important part in helping Rcoz engage youth, and support our youth-focused initiatives. If you have a strong commitment to mental health advocacy, excellent communication and project skills, and a desire to empower others, we’d love to hear from you!
- Location: Hybrid (Remote & Bay Area, CA)
- Commitment: 25 hours per week
- Compensation: Volunteer role for the first two months; stipend may be available based on funding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage youth-focused programs and initiatives.
- Organize and lead virtual and in-person events to engage youth.
- Serve as a main point of contact for youth participants and encourage their involvement.
- Track program success, gather feedback, and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with the Rcoz team to align efforts with organizational goals.
- Assist in the promotion and marketing of youth events and activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in managing or coordinating youth programs, events, or volunteer initiatives.
- Comfortable interacting with youth and representing the organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
- Passion for mental health awareness and South Asian communities is a plus.
- Availability to dedicate 20 hours per week, between 10 AM - 3 PM PT.
- Hybrid role - occasional in-person meetings/events in the Bay Area.
- Must be able to drive and travel to event locations across the East Bay and South Bay.
