As a Volunteer Facilitator, you will be responsible for virtually leading instructional sessions on topics such as domestic violence awareness, anger management, and parenting education. Volunteers in this role will follow court-approved curricula, ensuring all material is accurate, relevant, and delivered with care and professionalism. Volunteer Facilitators will work with individuals who may have prior involvement with the justice system. Responsibilities include presenting timely & accurate material in a professional and respectful manner, fostering a supportive learning environment and ensuring that referring agencies and officials receive up-to-date information regarding participant progress. This role requires strict adherence to HIPAA policies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role. Candidates should also demonstrate punctuality, effective assessment abilities, and the capacity to deescalate challenging situations when necessary.
