    Description

Founding Volunteer – Social Media / Video Content Creator (Civic Media Project)

Help Build a National Civic Movement Through Video and Social Media -

We’re looking for creative, driven volunteers to help us create compelling, shareable content and build our social following.

This is a founding-stage opportunity—you’ll help shape the voice, strategy, and growth of a national civic initiative from the ground up.

    🔹 What You’ll Do

    • Create short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
    • Design social media posts (graphics, carousels, memes, explainers)
    • Help develop content series (e.g. “What the Amendment Will Do”)
    • Collaborate on messaging and storytelling
    • Contribute ideas for growing audience and engagement

    🔹 What We’re Looking For

    • Experience with video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
    • OR experience with social media content creation/design
    • Strong sense of what performs well on social platforms
    • Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, engaging content
    • Self-starter mindset (this is early-stage, not heavily structured)

    🔹 Bonus (but not required)

    • Interest in civics, government, or political reform
    • Experience growing or managing a social media account
    • Motion graphics or animation skills

    🔹 Time Commitment

    Flexible (5–10 hours/week is typical)

    🔹 What You’ll Gain

    • Real ownership over content strategy and creative direction
    • Portfolio-worthy work tied to a national civic initiative
    • Opportunity to help shape a growing nonprofit at a foundational stage
    • Potential for long-term leadership role as the organization expands
