YouthShare Initiatives is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition & Engagement Specialist for a volunteer role.

    This pivotal position is at the forefront of building our volunteer community. You'll be responsible for actively seeking out, attracting, and onboarding passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds-students, job seekers, and seasoned professionals-who are eager to contribute their skills to our mission. Beyond recruitment, you'll play a key role in ensuring our volunteers, from every corner of the globe, feel valued, connected, and continuously engaged. Your work will directly fuel our ambitious growth, helping us empower hundreds more young changemakers worldwide in a truly intercultural environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    As our Talent Acquisition & Engagement Specialist, you will:

    • Global Volunteer Sourcing & Outreach: Proactively identify and reach out to potential volunteers through various channels, including international online platforms, university career centers, professional networks, and global community events, with an eye for cultural diversity.

    • Application Management: Manage the volunteer application process from initial inquiry to placement, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience for all candidates, regardless of their geographical location.

    • Intercultural Interview & Assessment: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, motivations, and alignment with YouthShare Initiatives' values and program needs, with sensitivity to diverse cultural contexts.

    • Inclusive Onboarding & Orientation: Assist in the development and delivery of engaging onboarding sessions, ensuring new volunteers from various backgrounds are well-informed, prepared, and integrated into our multicultural community.

    • Engagement Strategies: Collaborate with the Volunteer Program Architect and other team members to develop and implement strategies that foster continuous volunteer engagement, recognition, and retention, considering global participation.

    • Database Management: Maintain and update our volunteer database with accurate information, tracking recruitment progress and volunteer contributions from around the world.

    • Brand Ambassador: Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for YouthShare Initiatives, effectively communicating our mission and the value of volunteering to prospective candidates from all cultures.

    • Feedback & Improvement: Collect feedback from new and existing volunteers to identify areas for improvement in our recruitment and engagement processes, taking cultural nuances into account.
