14 year-olds must volunteer with parent / guardian present. 15-17 year olds must have adult permission, and will not be alone with adult volunteers or staff. Please see minor rules on application for full information.
Description

- Create worksheets and handouts
- Format activities and lesson materials
- Cut, copy, laminate, organize, and assemble activity kits
- Design signage and simple educational graphics
- Help ensure materials match museum branding
- Prepare materials for events and school visits
- Ideal for people who:
- Like design or organization
- Prefer behind-the-scenes work
- Enjoy crafting or assembling materials
- Want to help without public interaction
- Note- This is an excellent volunteer role for:
- Teens needing service hours
- Retirees
- Introverts
- Creative people who don’t love public speaking
- Though you will need to pick up and drop off materials at the museum, much of this work can be done offsite.
