    14 year-olds must volunteer with parent / guardian present. 15-17 year olds must have adult permission, and will not be alone with adult volunteers or staff. Please see minor rules on application for full information.

    Educational Media & Materials
    1. The builders behind the scenes.
    2. What they do
      1. Create worksheets and handouts
      2. Format activities and lesson materials
      3. Cut, copy, laminate, organize, and assemble activity kits
      4. Design signage and simple educational graphics
      5. Help ensure materials match museum branding
      6. Prepare materials for events and school visits
    3. Ideal for people who:
      1. Like design or organization
      2. Prefer behind-the-scenes work
      3. Enjoy crafting or assembling materials
      4. Want to help without public interaction
    4. Note- This is an excellent volunteer role for:
      1. Teens needing service hours
      2. Retirees
      3. Introverts
      4. Creative people who don’t love public speaking
      5. Though you will need to pick up and drop off materials at the museum, much of this work can be done offsite.
