    Volunteer Leadership Position

    The Grandparents Community Network (TGCN)

    Location: Remote (United States)

    Reports To: Founder & CEO

    Time Commitment: 10–15 Hours Weekly

    HELP BUILD A NATIONAL MOVEMENT

    The Grandparents Community Network (TGCN) is seeking a visionary leader to design and launch our Community Builders Network™, a national initiative focused on bringing together businesses, professionals, churches, community leaders, volunteers, advocates, and compassionate individuals who want to help strengthen grandfamilies across America.

    This is not a traditional membership program.

    Our grandparents and kinship caregivers are the people we serve.

    The Community Builders Network is the community that helps sustain the mission.

    We are seeking a strategic builder who can help us create a recurring support model that generates engagement, partnerships, advocacy, volunteerism, and sustainable monthly revenue.

    ABOUT TGCN

    The Grandparents Community Network is a national nonprofit organization serving grandparents and kinship caregivers raising grandchildren due to addiction, incarceration, death, military deployment, mental health challenges, abandonment, and other family crises.

    Through advocacy, education, community support, resource navigation, emergency assistance, and relationship-building, TGCN works to ensure that no grandfamily has to navigate caregiving alone.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Community Builders Network Director will lead the design, development, and growth of a national network of individuals, businesses, organizations, churches, and community supporters committed to strengthening grandfamilies.

    The successful candidate will help create a sustainable engagement model that transforms supporters into Builders who invest through:

    • Monthly Contributions
    • Volunteer Service
    • Advocacy Participation
    • Business Partnerships
    • Community Connections
    • Resource Development

    This position will work closely with leadership, data analytics, outreach, grants, marketing, and community engagement teams.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Community Builders Network Development

    Lead the creation of the TGCN Community Builders Network™

    Develop membership structure and builder categories

    Create value propositions for individual, professional, business, church, and corporate builders

    Recommend engagement and retention strategies

    Develop growth plans and expansion strategies

    Partnership Development

    Identify and cultivate relationships with:

    • Small Businesses
    • Community Organizations
    • Churches
    • Professional Associations
    • Service Clubs
    • Corporate Partners
    • Civic Leaders

    Develop partnership pathways that support both community impact and organizational sustainability.

    Membership Growth Strategy

    Create systems to recruit, engage, and retain Community Builders

    Develop recurring giving and builder participation strategies

    Support builder recognition and stewardship programs

    Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the Builders Network

    Data & Performance Intelligence

    Work with the Data Analytics Team to:

    Track Builder growth

    Monitor engagement

    Evaluate retention

    Analyze recruitment sources

    Measure recurring revenue

    Identify opportunities for growth and expansion

    Recommend dashboard metrics and reporting standards

    Community Engagement

    Support national and local chapter efforts

    Assist with community outreach initiatives

    Develop builder communication strategies

    Help create opportunities for meaningful participation and impact

    ✅ Engagement and retention plan implemented

    ✅ Partnership pipeline established

    ✅ Builder dashboard recommendations completed

    ✅ Monthly recurring revenue strategy launched

    ✅ Community Builder growth targets established
