Front Desk Attendant

The City of Bartow's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a friendly personality for their front desk. Front desk volunteers will greet guests as they enter the facility, answer the phones and provide information or take messages, and inform guests about current programs Bartow's Parks and Recreation Department has to offer. Expected attire should be professional. Closed toe shoes are required. Shifts are available Monday through Friday from 9am to 8pm.
Youth Basketball Coach
This is a volunteer opportunity, not a paid position.
This volunteer opportunity is NOT eligible for court-ordered service.
The City of Bartow's Parks and Recreation Department is looking for youth basketball coaches for the upcoming season. Volunteer youth basketball coaches will instruct youth participants on basic basketball practices, skills, and techniques of basketball through teamwork, fair play, and the love of the game.
Expected attire should be family friendly athleticwear. Closed toe shoes are required. For outdoor assignments it is recommended to bring something to stay hydrated, have sunglasses, and wear sunscreen.
Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5:30pm and 8pm. Games are on Saturdays beginning at 8am and ending at 1pm. Coaches should be there earlier than practice start times to allow time for interactions between parents and youth participants.
