    We’re Hiring Staff Liaisons! Be Part of Camp Immersed - Baltimore This Summer 🌍

    We are currently hiring staff for Camp Immersed, a dynamic, week-long immersive learning experience designed to introduce children to world languages, global cultures, and real-world communication through interactive activities and hands-on exploration. Camp Immersed is an initiative of Madame Armant's Immersion Cities, a nonprofit organization committed to bridging the gap between local communities and global opportunities through language learning and intercultural engagement. We are hosting camp in two separate locations this summer. This listing is for the Baltimore session.

    Camp dates and Locations:

    • July 27–31, 2026 | 1725 Twin Springs Rd, Baltimore, MD 21227

    Staff have the option to work at one campsite or both, depending on availability. Compensation is provided per campsite.

    Spanish Language Skills: Basic Spanish strongly preferred - but not required

    Reporting To: Operations Lead

    Rate: $20/hour

    Role Summary

    The Staff Liaison / Counselor Supervisor serves as the primary on-floor leader responsible for supervising Camp Counselors and ensuring safe, organized, and smooth daily operations. This role directly oversees student supervision, transitions, and behavioral management while acting as the communication bridge between counselors and camp leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Go-between for all staff and the camp leadership
    • Manage daily group assignments and rotations
    • Ensure proper student supervision at all times
    • Serve as first point of escalation for behavioral or safety concerns
    • Coordinate transitions between instructional blocks, BizTown, and workshops
    • Communicate staffing needs or concerns to the Operations Lead
    • Support implementation of emergency procedures as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Experience working with children in camps, schools, or youth programs
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple staff and student groups simultaneously
    • Background check required
