    Description

    JSSA is currently recruiting for many volunteer roles:
    • Meals on Wheels: weekly drivers and backup drivers to deliver kosher meals to home-bound seniors
    • Shoppers: shopping and delivery of groceries to seniors
    • Drivers for Medical Appointments: provide transportation and accompaniment to seniors
    • Himmelfarb Mobile University: instructors teach courses to seniors on a range of subjects in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities
    • Rent-a-Mensch: young professionals performing short-term, sometimes quick-turnaround acts of service in the community
    • Out and About: social clubs for people on the Autism spectrum
    • JSSA Hospice: provide companionship for the ill and terminally ill and respite for family members
