This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy working with youth, value consistency, and want to make a meaningful impact in the South Dallas community.

      • Volleyball Instruction — Assist with drills, teach basic skills, support beginners, and reinforce teamwork and discipline.
      • Fitness Station Support — Set up and monitor youth fitness stations, encourage safe participation, and maintain positive energy.
      • Youth Engagement — Motivate youth, model respect and teamwork, redirect behavior calmly, and help maintain a structured environment.
      • Life Skills Facilitation — Guide youth through communication, teamwork, responsibility, and social‑skills exercises.
      • Program Operations — Organize equipment, assist with transitions between stations, support themed program days, and help maintain a safe practice area.
      • Mentorship — Provide encouragement, build rapport, and help youth feel valued and capable.

    Qualifications

      • Experience with Youth — Comfortable working with children ages 5–14 in group settings.
      • Basic Volleyball Knowledge — Able to assist with drills and fundamentals (advanced coaching not required).
      • Strong Communication — Clear, positive communication with youth, volunteers, and program leaders.
      • Patience & Positivity — Calm, encouraging presence with a commitment to youth development.
      • Consistency — Able to attend more than 4–8 sessions to provide stability, build trust, and support program continuity.
