    Description

Help out. Hang out. Make it matter helping older neighbors.

Be the Highlight of Someone’s Week! Volunteer with Community Caregivers

Got a few hours? Bring connection, conversation, and a smile.

Community Caregivers is seeking compassionate volunteers to support older adults in Albany, Rensselaer, and parts of Schenectady County in staying independent and connected at home.

Many of our neighbors live alone and would benefit from a friendly visitor who can help with everyday needs—such as grocery shopping, providing a ride to a medical appointment, or simply sharing conversation and companionship.

With flexible scheduling and full training provided, volunteering is easy to start and deeply meaningful to those you help.

Join us and be the reason someone feels cared for.

We are a non-profit agency supported by community donations, and grants from The Albany County Department for Aging, the NYS Department of Health and Office for the Aging & the U.S. Administration on Aging.

There is no fee for any of our services.
