💜 Make a Difference in Your Community! 💜
The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking passionate volunteers to join the California Southland Planning Committee and California Southland Task Force as part of our Do What You Love to End Alzheimer's Campaign. Los Angeles is one of the nations highest-prevalence communities for Alzheimer’s, and we’re building a strong team to raise awareness and support local families.
What You’ll Do:
- Help plan and organize awareness events and community activities
- Engage the community and support outreach to local organizations
- Assist with event logistics and volunteer coordination
Why Volunteer:
- Build leadership, event planning, and project management skills
- Network with other young professionals and community leaders
- Make a visible, meaningful impact in the Southland community
- Bilingual volunteers encouraged (English/Spanish)
Time Commitment: Flexible – 2–5 hours per month, with more involvement during major events
Who Should Apply:
- Young professionals, students, and community-minded adults
- Passionate about health advocacy, community engagement, and nonprofit work
- No prior experience required—training and support provided
