    📢 Volunteer Opportunity: Fundraising Volunteer (Remote)

    Organization: SugarWise

    Location: Remote / Online

    Commitment: Flexible (Approx. 2–4 hours per week)

    About the Initiative

    SugarWise is a youth-led initiative focused on raising awareness about diabetes and improving access to essential diabetes supplies. Our mission is to educate communities, reduce stigma, and support individuals who struggle to obtain the resources needed to manage their condition.

    We are currently looking for a motivated fundraising volunteer to help expand our impact and support efforts to provide donations to trusted NGO’s and institutions that get diabetes supplies for people in need and finance researches.

    Role Overview

    The Fundraising Volunteer will support the development and implementation of fundraising initiatives to help secure financial support for diabetes-related programs and supply distribution efforts.

    This role is ideal for someone interested in public health, nonprofit work, advocacy, or social impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in planning and organizing fundraising campaigns
    • Research potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities
    • Help develop fundraising ideas and strategies
    • Support online fundraising initiatives and awareness campaigns
    • Assist with writing outreach messages to potential supporters
    • Help track fundraising progress and campaign results

    Preferred Skills (Not Required)

    • Interest in public health, nonprofit work, or advocacy
    • Strong communication skills
    • Creativity in developing fundraising ideas
    • Organization and reliability
    • Experience with social media or online campaigns is a plus

    Students and first-time volunteers are welcome to apply.
